Upin & iPin

Upin and Ipin (Nur Fathiah binti Diaz)
The main protagonists of the series. To tell the bald twins apart, Upin, who is older than his brother by five minutes, has a twirl of hair, tends to dress in yellow, and appears to act as the 'leader' among the two; while Ipin tends to dress in blue, has a penchant for fried chicken, and responds to anything he agrees by resonating "Betul, betul, betul" (betul is Malay for "correct").

Ros (Noor Ezdiani binti Ahmad Fawzi [season 1]; Ida Shaheera binti Azhar [season 2 onwards])
Upin and Ipin's teenage sister, whom they call "Kak Ros." She has a reputation of being fierce but is actually a loving and gentle sister. She loves to tease her brothers when the opportunity arises.
Mak Uda (Hjh. Ainon binti Ariff)
The maternal grandmother of Upin, Ipin and Ros, whom they affectionately call "Opah." She is kind and gentle-hearted, and tends to spoil the twins. She is a fountain of worldly and religious wisdom.
Rajoo (Kannan a/l Rajan)
Rajoo is one of Upin and Ipin's oldest friend. He is a Tamil Indian boy who is five years older than the twins and thus sometimes seen as a big brother figure to them. From the Geng trailers, he is also known as an "animal whisperer" who seems to be able to communicate with his pet cow, Sapy.
Fizi (Ida Rahayu binti Isop @ Yusoff)
Fizi is one of Upin & Ipin's friends. He goes to kindergarten with the twins. Ehsan usually bosses him around and he always gets picked on by the group. Fizi does however, has a habit of calling Ehsan by his pet name Intan Payung, which annoys Ehsan every time.
Ehsan (Mohd. Syahmi bin Abdul Hamid)
Ehsan is Fizi's cousin. He also goes to the same kindergarten and is the class rep, which makes him appear to be quite bossy. He loves to be the referee or judge in the games the kids play. He has a big love for food and is quite a miser - he never lets anyone borrow this things. Despite that, he is a loyal friend.
Mei Mei (Tang Ying Sowk)
Mei Mei is a cute, good-mannered Chinese girl who is also one of Upin and Ipin's classmates. She often acts as the voice of reason amongst her peers. Though seemingly patient, there are times when she can get quite bossy when her friends won't cooperate.
Mail (Muhammad Hasrul bin Mohd. Isa)
Another one of Upin and Ipin's classmates, introduced in season two. He always helps his mother sell food at the Ramadhan Bazaar. He is often portrayed to have a good sense of entrepreneurship, trying to sell anything that could be profitable (albeit often for RM 1.00 for 2 units of item).
Jarjit (Mohd. Shafiq bin Mohd. Isa)
Another classmate of Upin and Ipin, also introduced in season two. He is of the same age as the rest of the class but has a booming adult-like voice. He always tries to join the games that the other children play, but somehow something always happens that makes him get left out. He is a Sikh, as he wears his patka to cover his uncut hair.
Ijat (Muhammad Izzat bin Ngathiman)
Ijat is a Malay boy who is also Upin and Ipin's classmate. He is a person of few words, hence he is always seen communicating with others by miming.
Dzul (Mohd. Amirul bin Zarizan)
Another one of the twins' classmates, Dzul is also Ijat's best friend. He is the only one who understands Ijat's miming, and therefore, often acts as a translator for Ijat.
Devi (Maheswary a/p Mohan)
Devi is the twins' Indian classmate and friend. She is also a close friend of Mei Mei's (in season three, it has been found that she always plays with Mei Mei).
Susanti (Sarah Nadhirah binti Azman)
Susanti is the kids' new classmate, introduced in season three. She is a friendly Indonesian girl who moves to Malaysia with her parents.
